1. Scope of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern the booking and provision of private ground transport services — including airport and port transfers, private tours and chauffeur hire — offered by Luxury Auto Link Mykonos ("we", "us", "our") through this website, by telephone, by WhatsApp or by email. By placing a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
These Terms apply to the person making the booking (the "Client") and to all passengers travelling under that booking. The Client is responsible for making all passengers aware of these Terms.
2. Bookings and confirmation
- A booking request becomes a binding contract only once we confirm it in writing (email or WhatsApp) with the agreed date, time, route, vehicle category and price.
- The Client must supply accurate and complete details: pick-up and drop-off addresses, date and time, number of passengers, luggage, flight or vessel number, contact mobile number, and any special requirements such as child seats or accessibility needs.
- We are not liable for a failed or delayed service caused by incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date information provided by the Client.
- Requests for changes to a confirmed booking should be sent as early as possible and are subject to availability. Changes are effective only when confirmed by us in writing.
- All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability at the requested time.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are quoted per vehicle (not per passenger), in euro (€), and include the driver, fuel, tolls where applicable, insurance and all applicable Greek taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Quotes are based on the route and details supplied at the time of booking. Additional stops, route changes, extended waiting time, or a change in passenger or luggage numbers may result in a revised fare, communicated before the additional service is performed wherever practicable.
- Payment may be made in cash to the driver at the end of the service, or by another method expressly agreed in writing at the time of booking. For certain services, vehicles or peak dates we may require a deposit or prepayment to secure the reservation.
- Any cleaning or repair cost arising from damage or excessive soiling caused by a passenger (see clause 7) may be charged to the Client.
4. Cancellations, changes and no-shows
- Cancellations should be notified to us as soon as possible by email or WhatsApp. The cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge receipt.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge, and any deposit paid is refunded in full.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up may be charged up to the full value of the transfer, as the vehicle and driver have been reserved exclusively for you.
- A no-show — where no passenger presents at the agreed pick-up point within 60 minutes of the agreed time (for airport and port pick-ups: within the waiting period in clause 5) and we receive no contact — may be charged at the full fare.
- If we are unable to provide a confirmed service for reasons attributable to us, we will offer a suitable alternative vehicle or driver where possible, or refund all amounts paid for that service.
5. Pick-ups, waiting time and delays
- Airport arrivals: we monitor the flight number provided and adjust the pick-up to the actual landing time. Complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes from landing is included.
- Port arrivals: complimentary waiting time of 45 minutes from the vessel's actual docking time is included.
- All other pick-ups (hotels, villas, addresses): complimentary waiting time of 15 minutes from the agreed time is included.
- Waiting time beyond the complimentary period may be charged at the rate communicated to you, provided we can retain the driver on site.
- Please allow generous margins for onward connections. Mykonos roads can be affected by seasonal traffic, port congestion, narrow village access, weather and works. We drive lawfully and safely at all times and cannot guarantee journey durations.
6. Luggage, child seats and pets
- Luggage capacity depends on the vehicle category. Please declare the number and type of items (including oversized items such as golf bags, surfboards, bicycles or instruments) at the time of booking so that we assign a suitable vehicle.
- If actual luggage or passenger numbers exceed what was declared, the driver may be unable to carry them safely; an additional vehicle, where available, will be charged separately.
- Child and booster seats are available on request, free of charge, subject to availability. Please state the children's ages and weights when booking. Passengers must comply with Greek law on the transport of children.
- Assistance animals are always welcome. Other pets are accepted by prior arrangement and must travel in a suitable carrier.
- Luggage is carried at the owner's risk. Please check that you have all belongings before leaving the vehicle.
7. Passenger conduct and safety
- Seat belts must be worn by all passengers at all times, in accordance with Greek law.
- Smoking, vaping and the consumption of illegal substances are not permitted in our vehicles. Consumption of alcohol on board is permitted only where the driver expressly agrees and where the law allows.
- The driver may refuse to start or may terminate a journey where a passenger behaves in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, or unsafe for the driver, other passengers or the vehicle. In such cases the full fare remains payable.
- The Client is responsible for any damage or excessive soiling of the vehicle caused by passengers, and for the reasonable cost of cleaning, repair and the resulting loss of use.
- The number of passengers may never exceed the vehicle's licensed seating capacity.
8. Insurance and liability
All vehicles are licensed for the transport of passengers and carry the insurance cover required by Greek law. We perform our services with the professional care expected of a licensed transport provider.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to direct damage caused by our own negligence and, in any event, to the value of the service booked. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed flights, ferries, tours, connections, accommodation or other reservations, save where these result from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including the statutory consumer rights available to you under Greek and EU law.
9. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, road closures, port or airport disruption, accidents, traffic, civil unrest, acts of public authorities, epidemics, or a breakdown occurring despite proper maintenance. Where such an event prevents the service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative or to refund amounts paid for the affected service.
10. Lost property
Items found in our vehicles are kept for a reasonable period and can be collected or, where feasible, returned at the Client's cost. Please contact info@luxuryautolinkmykonos.com as soon as you notice a missing item. We cannot accept responsibility for items left behind.
11. Complaints
We take service quality seriously. Please send any complaint to info@luxuryautolinkmykonos.com within 14 days of the service, including your booking details and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and to resolve them promptly.
12. Governing law, disputes and changes
These Terms are governed by Greek law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece. Consumers resident in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the moment of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Any provision found to be invalid shall be replaced by a valid provision of equivalent effect, and the remaining provisions stay in force.
